OBJECTIVE

Maestro Equity Partners is looking for a General Accountant to strengthen its back-office team and support its investment activities.

This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and reliability of financial and administrative operations across the firm.

You will work in a fast-paced private equity environment, where attention to detail, discipline, and ownership are essential.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

1. Accounting & Reporting (40%)

• Perform monthly bookkeeping and prepare internal financial reports
• Prepare payroll and calculate statutory contributions
• Prepare annual financial statements
• Liaise with external auditors and support year-end audits
• Maintain and manage HR-related financial records

2. Transaction Execution (20%)

• Prepare and review commercial documents (contracts, invoices, debit notes, etc.)
• Process payments and manage banking transactions
• Coordinate with external parties (banks, insurance providers, etc.)

3. Compliance (20%)

• Prepare and submit VAT, PIT, and CIT filings
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and reporting requirements
• Manage statutory reporting with relevant authorities

4. Administration (20%)

• Support office operations and procurement
• Maintain internal documentation and processes
• Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders
• Support internal organization and team activities

PROFILE

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or audit
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
