At Maestro Equity Partners, this role sits at the intersection of investing and operating. You will support live investments and work directly with portfolio companies to improve reporting, forecasting, cash visibility, KPI tracking, and value-creation execution.
We are especially interested in candidates coming from audit, transaction services, FP&A, controlling, finance manager, or financial controller backgrounds who want to move closer to investing and business transformation.
What you’ll do
- Work with portfolio companies on monthly reporting, KPI dashboards, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
- Monitor performance against plan and identify the key drivers of over- or under-performance
- Support initiatives related to working capital, cash planning, gross margin, pricing, cost control, and unit economics
- Help strengthen finance processes, internal controls, and management reporting
- Support financial, legal, operational, and commercial due diligence on new investments
- Build and review financial models, scenario analyses, and investment materials
- Translate diligence findings into practical recommendations for pre- and post-investment action plans
- Analyze consumer-sector businesses, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
What we’re looking for
- 4–8 years of experience in audit, transaction services, FP&A, controlling, corporate finance, investment analysis, or similar finance roles
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and performance analysis
- Strong financial modeling and Excel skills
- Comfortable working directly with founders, finance teams, and external advisors
- Commercial judgment and the ability to connect detailed analysis to business decisions
- High attention to detail, strong ownership, and a hands-on mindset
- Strong communication skills in English and Vietnamese
- CPA, ACCA, CFA, CMA, or similar qualifications are a plus
Why join
- Exposure to both investing and hands-on value creation
- Direct work with founders, leadership teams, and advisors in live situations
- A path from technical finance into investment judgment and business transformation
- A role designed for people who want to go beyond reporting and help shape decisions
If your background is not a traditional private-equity path, but you have strong skills in reporting, planning, controls, business analysis, or finance leadership, we encourage you to apply.
